Switching from a more traditional wedding to an intimate elopement just for us felt overwhelming at first, but the moment we hired Becca, everything changed. Her communication and calm, relaxed approach immediately put us at ease. We loved how flexible she was with location and timing, especially knowing that if weather or plans shifted, we could adapt without stress. It felt so reassuring to trust someone who truly understood the nature of eloping.
Our elopement day itself was nothing short of magical. We wouldn’t change a single thing. Having Becca there to capture such meaningful moments felt so natural, and the entire experience exceeded everything we hoped for. We’ve loved sharing our photos with friends and family, and they can’t stop commenting on how incredible our photographer was.
One of our favorite moments was taking in the sunset together at our location, and I (Shannon) especially adore the photos we took of the moon on our hike back down. Throughout the entire day, we felt completely at ease and genuinely present, which speaks so much to Becca’s thoughtful and unobtrusive approach to capturing real moments.
Magical truly is the best word to describe it. From the hike up, to the ceremony, to the hike back down — it was everything we wanted our “big day” to be. We can even laugh now about the bear encounter (and we hope you can too!). Thank you for so beautifully capturing and sharing our day with us. Becca did a fantastic job taking photos of our rehearsal dinner, wedding, and brunch the next morning. She worked hard getting all the best shots!! She was so fun, energetic, and made me and my husband feel comfortable in front of the camera (my husband is extremely camera shy but Becca did an amazing job directing us)!! She had great photo ideas and also was willing to take pictures of any idea I (or my bridesmaids) had. I literally loved every single photo. I got my pictures back so fast too!! If my wife Kimberly and I were asked to describe our experiences with Becca using only one word we would say “fun”. Becca took our engagement pictures back in July last year. Kimberly and I weren’t really sure what to expect heading into that day because we’re both shy people whenever it comes to getting our pictures taken. Starting out we were a little uncomfortable, but as the session went on, thanks to Becca’s guidance of course, Kimberly and I quickly forgot that someone was taking pictures of us and we were just living in the moment! Fast forward to our cold, windy, and rainy wedding day on top of Max Patch in October. That is where we met Kidron for the first time. He was very friendly and just as fun as Becca was! Kimberly and I could not have asked for better people to work with and we will be forever grateful for the memories that they helped us capture.
P.S. The pictures turned out amazing! Kimberly and I are soo happy with them and we’re constantly receiving compliments about them from friends, family, and people we hardly know haha.
