Plus, who doesn’t love a vacation? This particular session took place on the beach in Florida, and it was amazing! The couple brought their golden retriever dog with them, which added an extra element of fun to the shoot!

The weather got a little crazy, but you know what? We were able to get some pretty incredible photos! I already knew Davis because he was a braidsman at his friend’s wedding that I photographed earlier and when I met Cole, there was an instant connection so I knew the session was going to be a blast! Choose a location that is special to you: This is your engagement, so you should pick a place that has meaning to you as a couple. Whether it’s the place you took your first camping trip or the beach where you got engaged, a location you both have on your bucket list, make sure it’s a place that holds significance for both of you.

Feeling Too Stressed?

Give yourself time to relax: This is supposed to be a fun experience, so make sure you give yourself enough time to relax and enjoy it. If you’re too stressed, it will show in the photos.

Trust is Key

Work with a photographer you trust: This is one of the most important tips! You need to find a photographer who you feel comfortable with and who you trust to capture your love story.
