Vail, CO

Vail is one of my favorite places because it sits at the base of Vail Mountain and the town is super quaint. It is home to the massive Vail Ski Resort and many other famous hotels. Vail is located in the White River National Forest, and is popular for skiing and snowboarding. Summer is a popular time for people to visit as well. In the summer you can find golfing, hiking, mountain biking and festivals.

Breckenridge is a name that many people know, especially if you are apart of the skiing and snowboarding community. However, this town is beautiful year round and offers several activities. Estes Park, CO

Estes Park is located outside of Rocky Mountain National Park. This mountain town has family owned shops and restaurants to explore. Estes Park sits in a valley surrounded by mountains. The entrance into Estes Park is hard to beat. Lake Estes can be seen as soon as you reach the edge of town. There are several locations around Estes Park that make for the perfect backdrop for elopements. Dillon, CO

Dillon is one of my favorite places because it is easily accessible year round. In the center of town you can find Dillon reservoir. It has several overlooks and campgrounds making it a convenient location for eloping couples. Lake Dillon is a tad more affordable and is super easy to get too. If you are coming from Denver, you will see the beautiful lake views as you crest over the hill – it’s hard to miss!
