This Lake Dillon winter engagement session was UNREAL! This is exactly why I moved to Colorado! I want to be able to capture MAGIC that is in the mountains all the time! Especially, at Lake Dillon! My fingers and toes were pretty frosty, but no matter how cold it was, it was so worth it! I would do it again in a heartbeat, so if this is something YOU want to do, hit me up! Tips for what to wear in the snow!

A few tips as a couple to remember if you’re doing a snowy engagement session, especially if you are from out of state; wear leggings and warm socks and boots! Heels are out! it’s not worth it to wear heels in the snow!

Also, I would recommend for the guys to wear some sort of layer under their pants to keep their legs warm! Smart wool or thick wool socks would also be ideal in your shoes! Bundle up as much as possible to start and then we can shed layers as we go! I kept these guys nice and toasty before making them shed their hats and coats!
